11,000 Petition for Dark Souls 2

There has been a lot of rage over the fact that Namco Bandai announced they would be skipping the Wii U for their upcoming game, Dark Souls 2. The game will be releasing on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The gaming community did not approve of this decision. Christopher Marcil from Brighton in the United States decided to start a petition to bring Dark Souls 2 to the Wii U.

Christopher Marcil made the argument that the Wii U’s GamePad could be used for the inventory and releasing it on Wii U will bring the series to a larger audience.

So far the petition has reached over 11,000 signatures from Wii U owners, hopefully this number keeps rising. There is time for it to grow since Dark Souls 2 does not currently have a release date announced. Anything can happen if more of the gaming community gets behind Christopher.

You can sign the petition here!

Update: The petition has 12000+ supporters now.
