Bethesda Hints at New Game Title

Established in 2001 from LLC Bethesda Softworks, Bethesda Game Studios has made a name for itself very quickly in the video game community. Through titles such as Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3, the Bethesda name has become almost synonymous with open-world exploration, freedom in quest choice, and quality. Fans will soon have more to be excited about from this company, as Bethesda Game Studios vice-president Peter Hines sent out a press release today hinting at a new game coming soon.

He said:

“I think you’ll hear us making considerably more noise this year than we did last year, as a publisher. Obviously the Elder Scrolls Online is out and we’ve got the Dishonored DLC, but we will be announcing new stuff and making some noise, and I think when we get the chance to show you guys what we’re up to, you’ll sit up and take notice.

“I think we’re continuing to do the stuff that we get excited about, and people will get really excited about it too when they hear what we’re up to. We’re continuing to push the boundaries and reinvent – find really smart, passionate teams who know what they’re doing and have an idea that they really want to do and do well.

“So who that is, and what they’re doing is TBD but, when I’m next in London to do this, hopefully we’ll be able to talk more and gauge your reaction.”

Whether this means a brand new IP or a sequel to a former title, we will have to wait and see. Personally, I would love for this to be an announcement for Fallout 4. Thinking of how far their game engines have come since the last Fallout (especially considering how great of a game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was) I cannot wait to see the wasteland in the full glory I know it can be. I suppose we’ll all have to wait until E3 to find out.
