Call of Duty: Ghosts’ Chaos Mode Detailed

Developer Infinity Ward has unveiled full details on the recently released Extinction Chaos Mode for Call of Duty: Ghosts, which was launched in the latest update. The developer has explained how the Combo Perks system works, among other features of the free game mode.

Chaos Mode will allow 1-4 players to team up against relentless hordes of aliens as they growing more and more powerful each round. A combo meter will be filled as you destroy the Cryptids. Players will need to collect weapons and upgrades and make use of special abilities to keep on surviving.

Your combo meter will allow you to increase your power with new Perks. Bonus drops throughout the match will give you some added help, which looks to be much-needed.

Medic – Emit an aura of healing and instant revive for 15 seconds

Venom-X – Default Venom-X (Nightfall and Mayday only)
Venom-X Fire – Fire variant of the Venom-X (Mayday only)
Venom-X Lightning – Lightning variant of the Venom-X (Mayday only)

Tesla Trap – Shock incoming Cryptids (Mayday only)
Hypno Trap – Turn multiple Cryptids to your side (Mayday only)

Stun Ammo – Stun ammo for the whole team. Persists for all guns once obtained.
Incendiary Ammo – Incendiary ammo for the whole team. Persists for all guns once obtained.
Explosive Ammo – Explosive ammo for the whole team. Persists for all guns once obtained.
Armor Piercing Ammo – Armor Piercing ammo for the whole team. Persists for all guns once obtained.

Extinction Chaos Mode is available on every platform that Call of Duty: Ghosts is, except the Wii U.
