Senior VP of Capcom, Christian Svensson has stated to the Capcom Unity forums that the game development company is looking to bring new things to the Wii U, not old ports. This is great news for gamers, as playing the same old gamers just ported over gets old very quickly.
Svensson did not go into any specifics on if Capcom was currently working on any new IP’s for the Wii U. We could probably expect an announcement or two before or during E3 2013.
Capcom generally makes great games and that hopefully will not change anytime in the future.

With regard to Wii U, in general we’re looking forward, not back so late ports are generally not on the table.
