Yuji Horii of Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest X, coming to the Wii U in 2013, will feature an orchestrated soundtrack. The game will include a few non-orchestral music as well, but it looks as if they are putting as much devotion into the music as the rest of the game.
Music in games sometimes gets overlooked and we end up with some bizarre and random pieces playing in the background. Other times, such as with Dragon Quest X, we get beautiful masterpieces written and orchestrated specifically for this game.
Here’s to hoping Dragon Quest X sounds as good as it looks.
