Nintendo seems to be following a pattern with their television commercials. So far the majority of them have featured a series of brightly colored rooms with families and friends playing different games on the Wii U. Some new settings could be a good thing, re-using the same old idea gets old pretty quickly. That being said the gameplay for Lego City Undercover does look quite good on the Wii U.
Lego City Undercover is a Grand Theft Auto style sandbox game coming to the Wii U sometime during the launch window for the Wii U. Taking place in Lego City, players take on the role of undercover cop, Chase McCain, as he goes looking for criminals.
Players will use the GamePad as a police scanner to locate criminals and head off to take them down. From there the player can control vehicles such as cars and helicopters and use bricks to build objects.
The Lego series of games have always been aimed at children, this one is no different even with a little more mature story.
