Need for Speed: Most Wanted Wii U Release Date Announced

Need for Speed: Most Wanted has been out for all other systems for some time now and most have had the opportunity to give the newest racing game a try. Now EA is bringing Most Wanted to the Wii U.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted will be available in the United States on March 19th, and in Europe on March 21st.

EA is calling the Wii U version of Most Wanted an “Enhanced Version”, it will include a new local co-op mode called Co-Driver. One player will drive the vehicle using the Wii Remote or Wii U Pro Controller, whilst the other player uses the Wii U GamePad to provide navigation assistance on the map.

EA explained the mode:

Using just their fingertips, a partner can distract pursuing cops, switch from night to day or activate enhanced performance for any car and even control the amount of traffic on the road. This is the ultimate advantage for gamers who like to stir up trouble for the cops, their friends or just for fun.

Players will be able to use the GamePad to switch between cars and the modifications they have on their vehicles. Plus the entire game supports off-screen play with the GamePad.

If you haven’t had the chance to play Criterion and EA’s new racing game, now is a good time to pick it up. With all the new features it will be something to keep your attention, even if you have played it before.
