Capcom has announced a new DLC add-on for Street Fighter IV in a panel at the Evolution 2013 tournament series currently raging in Las Vegas. 360, PS3 and PC players will find out in early 2014 when they can drop $15 to take the 5 new characters, 6 stages and various balance changes for a ride. Art was posted on Capcom.jp for 4 of the 5 characters, with the fifth one to be announced alongside a trailer before the Grand Finals for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. Elena, Hugo and Rolento are Street Fighter alumni and were last seen alongside Poison in Street Fighter X Tekken, but the last character is said to be new to the Street Fighter franchise. Most of these finer details are courtesy of GameSpot’s Rod Breslau’s twitter.

It’s been 2 years since Arcade Edition, the last major update to Street Fighter IV. It added two Street Fighter III characters, Yun and Yang, Evil Ryu from Street Fighter Alpha and an even EVILER Akuma. This update looks to address some of the issues with that version, such as a lack of new stages.
