Nintendo Direct – December 5

The newest Nintendo Direct is out today, announcing game details, release dates, and some trailers of upcoming Wii U titles. Some of the new thing shown this time around include Google Maps, Pikmin 3, Game & Wario, and LEGO City Undercover.

• Google Maps – Google will be putting out an app on the Wii U sometime in Q1 of 2013. This will allow users to browse Google Maps in “Street View” and use the GamePad controls as a part of Panorama View.
• Pikmin 3 – Will be arriving in North America and Europe during the second quarter of 2013. Japan will be receiving the game during spring 2013.
• Game & Wario – Will bring a total of 16 mini-games that support five-person multiplayer to the Wii U.
• LEGO City Undercover – Will be launching in North America and Europe in Q1 2013.

Quite a bit of good gameplay and features shown off this time around. Hopefully Nintendo will keep with this trend and show us some good games and apps the next time around as well.
