Persona 5 Announced! Along With 3 Other Persona Titles Coming Soon

During a stream this morning by Atlus Japan, 4 new Persona titles were gradually revealed (after some tension building, long countdowns and seemingly troll-like antics), with the 4th title being the long-awaited Persona 5. The Persona series is part of the Shin Megami Tensei RPG series produced by Atlus, featuring extensive use of mythology and murder mystery-like intrigue, and the Persona sub series (especially 3 and 4) were an attempt to bring the series to a younger audience. Due to the success of Persona 3 and Persona 4, Atlus now brings us this interesting new collision of the two worlds entitled: Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth for 3DS:

Next up is a new trailer for Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Holda sequel to the fighting game spin-off of Persona 4 entitled: Persona 4 The Ultimate In Mayonaka Arena (known in western territories as Persona 4 Arena). We now know that it is releasing in Japanese Arcades on November 28th and is coming to PS3 next year:

The next announcement was an uncanny one, a title which took stream viewers by shock and surprise: Persona 4 Dance, a collaboration between Atlus and Dingo. This title is a rhythm game for the PS Vita featuring the Persona 4 characters Rise Kujikawa and Yu Narukami performing dance moves which you can direct with button presses, along to music by series composer Shoji Meguro:

And last but certainly not least, the announcement that everyone was definitely waiting for: Persona 5, coming winter 2014 for the PS3 only. Check out the brief but chilling teaser trailer for the game:
