Saints Row IV Delayed In Australia

by

Today many gamers are ripping the plastic off their copies of Saints Row IV in anticipation of all the antics they will get into, except the Australians. It has been revealed today that the Australian release of Saints Row IV has been pushed back to some time in September.

Many believe this is due to the fact that Volition and Deep Silver had to release a censored version of the game in Australia. The changes will take time to implement into the game and hence a delay. At least the game will be released, as it was originally refused twice by the Australian Classification Board.

According to EB Games Saints Row IV will be released on September 20th. The date seems feasible but has not been confirmed by Volition or Deep Silver. Steam has also set their Australian release date as some time in September, though an exact date was not given.

Saints Row IV was released today for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Anyone who has had the chance to play the game let us know below. My copy is sitting on the desk beside me, still wrapped in that evil plastic while I work.
