The Bureau: XCOM Declassified DLC Plans
2K Games has revealed that it plans to support the third-person shooter/strategy title, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, after the game launches on August 20th. This support will be seen in the form of multiple story-based expansion packs, with the first one being released exclusively for the Xbox 360.
2K Marin and 2K Games revealed the news of the Xbox 360 exclusive DLC, but did not forget about the PC and PS3 community. The developers are planning all-new content for both systems in the game’s future.
Development director Morgan Gray released a statement saying:
The alternate 1962 universe that we’ve created for The Bureau is vast and there are many more stories to tell about the early days of XCOM.
2K also announced that those who pre-order the game at certain retailers will be granted access to a bonus campaign side-mission called Codebreakers. The player and their squad will make their way to a “top secret government communications facility” to bring it back to life.
Along with the new Codebreakers side-mission, those who pre-order at GameStop will receive the Light Plasma Pistol to use in-game.
The Bureau: XCOM Declassified will be released on August 20th in North America and Internationally on August 23rd for the PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360.
